Music City Mistletoe: A Holiday Story Worth Telling
There’s something magical about Christmas in Nashville—the glow of lights on Broadway, the warmth of a familiar melody drifting through the air, and the stories that unfold between the music and the moments. Music City Mistletoe captures that magic, blending the heart of country music with the spirit of the season.
For those who haven’t heard, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of this film, not just as a musician but as a presence in the story itself. The film follows Chloe Barlow, a songwriter navigating the ups and downs of the music industry, trying to hold on to her dreams when everything seems to be slipping away. Nashville can be a tough town, but it can also be a place where second chances happen—where the right song, the right moment, or the right person can change everything.
My music plays a role in this story, too. Two of my songs—“Merry Magical Christmas” and “Fighting for a Dream”—are featured in the film, adding another layer to its journey of resilience and hope. Both songs carry messages that feel right at home in Music City Mistletoe—one celebrating the wonder of the season, the other standing as an anthem for those who refuse to give up on what they believe in.
Being part of this project was more than just a chance to contribute music; it was a reminder of why we tell stories in the first place. Whether through songs or film, we connect with each other by sharing experiences—joy, struggle, love, and redemption.
I can’t wait for you all to see Music City Mistletoe and experience the story for yourself. Whether you’re tuning in for the music, the holiday spirit, or just a great movie set in the heart of Nashville, I hope it resonates with you the way it did with me.
Stay tuned for updates on release details and behind-the-scenes looks at my time on set. In the meantime, keep chasing those dreams—and if you ever need a reminder of what’s possible, just press play.
